Feb 1st 2008 Iraqi Integrity Commission in their report uncovered corruption involved the Iraqi government، Iran and the US as reported on Al Hayat، the commission exposed that the theft and smuggling of Iraqi Oil is going on daily using floating tanks. Iran Iran takeover more than 15 Iraqi Oil wells in Al Tayeb area south of Iraq، the commission also documented that Iran is drilling in Iraqi wells using horizontal digging technology. [Al Hayat also report that the Iranian Oil Ministry denied this، saying that Tehran withdraw its oil via pipeline from Basra to the special Abadan refineries، upon agreement with Baghdad. ] The U. S. Arms deal done by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense with the United States to purchase arms for the Iraqi military، the Iraqi purchase committee received 35 years-old re-painted، expired and unfit for use rifles. The source said that the Iraqi committee refused to receive the arms but somehow the deal is done. The Integrity Commission didn’t reveal the values and names of people involved in this deal. However، over the past months the Ministry of Defense issued a new military criminal law procedures directing all the cases to the military courts، which means that the ministry can withhold information and documents required by the department of the integrity. |
