·       Resistance fighters ambush US foot patrol, reportedly killing three American troops in al-Hadithah.

Al-Hadithah.

 

Resistance fighters ambush US foot patrol, reportedly killing three American troops in al-Hadithah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US foot patrol in the as-Sayhani area of western al-Hadithah, some 300km west of Baghdad.

 

The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Sayhani area as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons ambushed the American foot patrol, killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.

 

‘Anah.

 

Resistance bomb east of ‘Anah reportedly kills US soldier.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the main road near the ar-Rayhanah intersection east of the city of ‘Anah in western Iraq.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Anah as saying that the bomb disabled an American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.

 

Ar-Ramadi.

 

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing northwest of ar-Ramadi.

 

In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the al-Jazirah area west of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that the bomb went off by a patrol of five US Humvees, completely destroying one of them and killing three American soldiers who were aboard it.  A fourth US soldier received severe wounds in the explosion.

 

Al-Fallujah.

 

Resistance sharpshooter kills two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Fallujah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two Iraqi puppet “National Guards” at the western entrance to al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

 

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police who asked not to be named as saying that two puppet troops were killed as they were on guard duty at a checkpoint on the western approach to the city.  Both took direct hits from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullets and both died instantly.

 

Al-Habbaniyah.

 

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in al-Habbaniyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the city of al-Habbaniyah, 69km west of Baghdad.

 

The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded by a US column as it was driving along the road east to nearby al-Fallujah.  The explosion destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.

 

US forces then arrest religious leader later on Wednesday in the day.

 

In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces raided the home of Shaykh Taha ad-Dulaymi, the Imam of the al-Habbaniyah Mosque in the al-Madani neighborhood of the city and arrested him along with three of his sons.

 

The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops surrounded the al-Madani neighborhood and then stormed the house of Shaykh Taha ad-Dulaymi.  The correspondent noted that the arrest of the Shaykh followed the Resistance bombing during the night in which one Humvee was disabled and three US troops killed.

 

Baghdad.

 

Resistance bomb wounds puppet police in Baghdad’s al-Baladiyat district.

 

In a dispatch posted at 9:10pm Mecca time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet police on the main road in the eastern Baghdad district of al-Baladiyat.

 

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road near the puppet “Civil Defense Center” blew up by a patrol of puppet policemen that was driving past.  The explosion disabled one patrol vehicle, severely wounding three puppet policemen.

 

Resistance fighters assassinate two pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen in southwest Baghdad following attack by puppet “Shock Troops” on neighborhood Sunni mosque.

 

In a dispatch posted at 8pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters killed two members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades militia in the al-‘Amil neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad.

 

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters attacked three Badr Birage gunmen, killing two of them and wounding a third.

 

The assassination followed an incident earlier in the day when men in uniforms of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” armed with light and medium weapons and driving a car apparently belonging to the puppet ministry attacked the Sunni al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Mosque in the al-‘Amil neighborhood.  The attackers, believed to by pro-American Shi‘i militiamen, severely wounded one of the mosque guards and broke the doors and windows of the mosque and smashed furniture.

 

People in the neighborhood came out armed with light weapons to repulse the pro-American Shi‘i sectarians.  The local armed residents forced the gunmen to retreat to the area where a group of puppet “Shock Troop” forces were deployed, and those troops then protected the fleeing gunmen.

 

Resistance sharpshooter kills Iraqi puppet policeman in ad-Durah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet policeman in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a group of puppet police was operating in ad-Durah on Wednesday morning when an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet struck and killed one of them.

 

Resistance fighters ambush, kill three pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen in Baghdad’s al-Jihad neighborhood.

 

In a dispatch posted at 9:30pm Mecca time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a number of pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militiamen in western Baghdad’s al-Jihad neighborhood.

 

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked a number of Badr Brigade gunmen, killing three of them and wounding two more.

 

Resistance fighters ambush puppet police patrol in western Baghdad’s al-Jihad neighborhood.

 

In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a puppet police patrol on the mian road in the al-Jihad neighborhood of western Baghdad.

 

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents in al-Jihad as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the puppet Iraqi policemen, damaging one of their patrol vehicles and killing one puppet policeman and wounding a second.

 

Foreign mercenary “security contractor” killed in Resistance bomb attack in Baghdad’s at-Tayran Square.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of armor-plated four-wheel-drive vehicles of the type used by mercenary “security service” personnel working under contract with the US occupation troops in the area of at-Tayran Square in Baghdad’s al-Bab ash-Sharqi area.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported shopkeepers in the at-Tayran Square area as saying that the bomb went off by a passing column of four-wheel drive vehicles being driven by foreign contractor mercenaries working with the occupation forces.  The blast destroyed one of the vehicles, killing one of the foreigners and wounding a second.

Al-Yusufiyah.

 

Resistance bomb blasts US column south of al-Yusufiyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the highway near ‘Uwayrij, south of al-Yusufiyah, which is located about 25km southwest of Baghdad

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Uwayrij as saying that the bomb went off by passing column of several American Humvees and armored vehicles.  The blast disabled one Humvee, severely wounding the four US troops who were aboard it.

At-Tarimiyah.

 

Resistance bomb kills two puppet “National Guards” on joint patrol near at-Tarimiyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet “National Guard” patrol in the city of at-Tarimiyah, about 30km north of Baghdad.

 

The at-Tarimiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the explosion blasted the joint patrol as it proceeded along the road to al-Mushahadah.  The bomb disabled one of the puppet “National Guard” vehicles, killint two of the puppet “Guards” and wounding two more of them.

 

Balad.

 

Resistance bomb blasts US column near Balad Tuesday-Wednesday night.

 

In a dispatch posted at 7:50pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the Tulul al-Baj area near Balad, about 85km north of Baghdad.

 

The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the Tulul al-Baj area blew up by a column of several American Humvees and armored vehicles on Tuesday-Wednesday night.  The blast completely destroyed one Humvee, but no in formation on the nature or extent of casualties was available because of the curfew that was then in force.

Kirkuk.

 

Resistance bomb blasts puppet army troops southwest of Kirkuk.

 

In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army column on the road to al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Kirkuk puppet police as saying that a bomb went off, destroying an Iraqi puppet army vehicle and killing three Iraqi puppet troops and severely wounding a fourth.

Tall ‘Afar.

 

Resistance bomb in Tall ‘Afar wounds three US soldiers.

 

In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the town of Tall ‘Afar, west of Mosul in northern Iraq.

 

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Tall ‘Afar as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road in the as-Saray area blew up by a passing US patrol, disabling one Humvee and wounding three US troops.

Resistance strikes US-occupied Mosul airport with Katyusha rockets.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces rocketed the Mosul airport – a facility that American troops have taken over and turned into their main headquarters in the city.

 

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police in the city as saying the Resistance fired two medium-range Katyusha rockets into the American occupied airport.
