· Iraqi Resistance announces founding of Supreme Command for the Jihad and Liberation forces.

Mysterious rocket hits family home in al-Fallujah, killing one, wounding four family members.
In a dispatch posted on its Arabic website at 8:34pm Wednesday night Beijing time, the Xinhua News Agency reported that a rocket of unknown origin blasted into a family home in the al-Bazarah neighborhood of central al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad early Wednesday morning.
Xinhua reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the rocket explosion killed one member of the family living in the home and wounded four more. Heavy damage was also inflicted on the house and a number of other dwellings in the neighborhood. The wounded were taken to al-Fallujah General Hospital, one of them in serious condition.

Iraqi Resistance announces Founding of Supreme Command for the Jihad and Liberation in Baghdad.
The patriotic Iraqi website albasrah.net reported on Tuesday that 22 Iraqi Resistance fighting groups had convened a Unification Congress in a liberated neighborhood in Baghdad.
The Congress resolved to unite all the Resistance groups that were in attendance at the meeting, which agreed that its aim was the total liberation of the entirety of Iraq, however long that might take. The congress also decided that membership in the unified Resistance front would be open to other armed Resistance groups or fighters wishing to join. The Congress also resolved to create a Supreme Command of the Jihad and Liberation struggle and it elected Iraqi President ‘Izzat Ibrahim ad-Duri the Supreme Commander of the Jihad and Liberation. Also elected at the meeting were a first deputy supreme commander and a deputy for military affairs.
The Supreme Command of the Jihad then convened its own meeting at which a General Staff was created under the command of the Supreme Commander of the Jihad. Lieutenant General ‘Amir Muhammad Amin was named Deputy Supreme Commander for Military affairs. Also created at the meeting were a religious consultation body headed by Shaykh ‘Ali ‘Abdallah al-‘Ubaydi. A national security board was also chosen to be headed by General Khalid Sulayman Khalaf. A board for administrative and financial affairs was created under the command of Lieutenant General Muhammad Salig ‘Alwan and a board for information and mobilization was named under the command of General Salah ad-Din Ahmad. Dr. Kan‘an Amin was named official spokesman for the Jihad and Liberation Command.
The Supreme Command declared that the Jihad and Liberation command upheld “sacred principles” that could not be violated and stated that no party was authorized to enter into negotiations with the American enemy except on the basis of those principles. The Command stated that the jihad would continue and escalate until the American enemy recognized it and fled from Iraq.

In addition the Command said that meetings must be held on the re-establishment of a government, adding that one-man rule was being done away with and replaced with system based on Islamic democratic principles as distinct from the imperialist democracy that is notorious for its practice of self-serving double standards.

Iraqi Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee in northern Baghdad Wednesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12:54am Makkah time just after midnight Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the at-Tubji area of northern Baghdad at about 4pm local time Wednesday afternoon.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a local eyewitness as saying that the bomb destroyed one American Humvee wounding all aboard. Witnesses were unable to say, however, how many Americans had been wounded in the attack because US forces sealed off the entire area after the attack to prevent information on the American casualties from leaking out.
Sectarian murder spree continues: six more bodies of victims found dumped in various parts of Baghdad Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 7:54pm Baghdad time Wednesday evening, the Aswat al-‘Iraq news agency, which was set up by Reuters and the U.N. Development Agency, reported that the Iraqi puppet police recovered the bodies of six more victims of sectarian murder that had been dumped in various parts of Baghdad on Wednesday.
Aswat al-‘Iraq reported a source in the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” as saying that the victims had all been shot to death.
Car bomb blasts Polish ambassador’s motorcade in Baghdad, killing five.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb blasted into the motorcade of the Polish ambassador in Baghdad, General Edward Pietrzyk in Baghdad on Wednesday morning.
The AMSI reported a diplomatic source as admitting that five personnel who were on the motorcade were killed in the attack but that General Pietrzyk was able to leave the scene on his own.
The Iraqi puppet “Interior Ministry” acknowledged that the Polish ambassador’s motorcade consisted of four four-wheel-drive vehicles flying the Polish flag. The car bomb destroyed three of the vehicles in the convoy. The puppet “Interior Ministry” reported that the Polish ambassador had been wounded in the attack and that the Iraqi regime forces were trying to evacuate him.
Poland, now a member of the NATO alliance and a satellite of the United States has deployed about 900 troops in Iraq to support the American occupation forces. Twenty Polish occupation troops have been listed as killed in Iraq since the US invaded the country in 2003.

Resistance bomb destroys puppet “National Guard” vehicle in al-Mada’in Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:33am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that a bomb exploded by a patrol of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” near the puppet police station in al-Mada’in, about 25km southeast of Baghdad on Wednesday morning.
The AMSI reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast completely destroyed one vehicle in the puppet police column, killing or wounding all the troops aboard.

Resistance men kill puppet policeman in drive-by shooting in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30am Makkah time just after midnight Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters in a late model car opened fire on a puppet police patrol in an alley in the Sukkar neighborhood of northern al-Mawsil, 420km northwest of Baghdad.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet security forces who asked to remain anonymous as saying that the attack left one puppet policeman dead. He said that the puppet police returned fire at the attackers, who successfully left the area.
Iraqi Resistance men kill puppet army lieutenant in eastern al-Mawsil Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:26pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Aswat al-‘Iraq news agency, which was set up by Reuters and the U.N. Development Agency, reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters in a late-model car shot and killed a lieutenant in the Iraqi puppet army in the al-Jaza’ir neighborhood of al-Mawsil, 420km northwest of Baghdad, on Wednesday.
Aswat al-‘Iraq reported Brigadier General ‘Abd al-Karim al-Jabburi, the director of operations in the Ninwa Province puppet police as saying that the Resistance men then left the scene.
Al-Qadisiyah Province. Ad-Diwaniyah.
Joint US-puppet army headquarters in ad-Diwaniyah bombarded Wednesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12:45am Makkah time just after midnight Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the joint US-Iraqi puppet forces office in ad-Diwaniyah, 180km south of Baghdad was the target of a mortar barrage on Wednesday afternoon.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police in ad-Diwaniyah as saying that about 20 mortar shells blasted into the ad-Diwaniyah Youth Center building, which the US and its puppet allies have turned into their local headquarters. No information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
On Monday a joint force of American and Iraqi puppet army forces surrounded a residential neighborhood in ad-Diwaniyah as part of a new plan by the Americans and their puppet regime allies to crack down on armed groups in the area. Ad-Diwaniyah has been the scene of fighting between rival Shi‘i sectarian militias – some of them concurrently members of the US-backed puppet military forces. The various Shi‘i sectarians are vying for control of southern Iraq following the imminent departure of British forces.
