ضمـن نشاطات هيئـة الإسناد للدفـاع عـن الرئيس صـدام حسين ورفاقه وكافة الأسرى والمعتقلين في العـراق أعلـن المحامي زياد الخصاونة رئيس هيئة الإسناد عن استقباله لوفد من المحامين الإيطاليين وتم إجراء بحثاً معمقاً حول طبيعة ومهام عمل الهيئة وأبدى في الوقت ذاته سروره بانضمام البروفسور الإيطالي السيد Carlo Taormina  أستاذ القانون الدولي في جامعة روما ومحام وعضو مجلس النواب الإيطالي وكذلك انضمام زملاء جدد من ايطاليا وهم  :-

وبهذه المناسبة أفاد المحامي زياد الخصاونة رئيس هيئة الإسناد أن عدد المحامين العراقيين قد أصبح ألف وخمسة وثلاثون محامياً من كافة أنحاء العراق بعد انضمام 835 محامياً وذلك عبر رسالة وصلت من الأستاذ خليل الدليمي رئيس لجنة الدفاع عن الرئيس صدام حسين في العراق نائب رئيس هيئة الإسناد للدفاع .

         ISNAD President lawyer Ziyad Khasawneh announced that he recived a group of Italian lawyers . Khasawneh and the Italian lawyers discussed in depth all aspects of ISNAD activities .

    Prof. Carlo Taormina expressed his wish to join ISNAD. Amove which was welcomed by lawyer Khasawneh. Prof. Carlo Taormina is a professor of  law at Rome University and he is an Italian parliament member . Two other Italian lawyers announced that they have joined ISNAD committee . They are Avv.Daniele Bertaggia and Avv.Anna Agosti .

       More over , Lawyer Ziyad khasawneh announced that that 830 Iraqi lawyers have recently joined the committee .

This means that the total number of Iraqi lawyers who are members of ISNAD  mounted to 1035 Iraqi lawyers according to a letter sent recently from khalil Duliami – the vice president of ISNAD .
