ورفاقه وكافة الاسرى والمعتقلين في العراق

منذ أن تعرض العراق للعدوان والغزو والاحتلال بناء على أوهام باطلة لا أسس قانونية ولا واقعية لهاو والجرائم تتواصل بحق الشعب العراقي يومياً تدميراً وقتلاً ونهباً وتنكيلاً, مما أودى بحياة اكثر من مائة ألف عراقي حتى الآن, وترك عشرات الآلاف آخرين من أبناء الشعب العراقي البررة في غياهب سجون ومراكز اعتقالات غير قانونية, ويندى جبين الإنسانية دماً لما يحصل فيها من انتهاكات صارخه لأبسط حقوق الإنسان في الحياة والكرامة, وبشكل يثير استهجان أعداء الإنسانية قبل أصدقائها. وقد قضى من هؤلاء عدد كبير غير معروف, كما أصيب بعضهم بعاهات مستديمة, واختفت آثار آلاف منهم, في ظل انكفاء المنظمات الدولية ونكوصها عن القيام بواجباتها سواء في الوصول الى هؤلاء المعتقلين, أو في المطالبة بتطبيق القوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية لوقف هذا التدهور الأخلاقي المريع للإنسانية وهي تهدف الى التصدي لهذا التجاوز السافر على - كرامة الانسان وحقوقه في العراق وذلك من خلال:
1- محاولة جمع المعلومات من العراقيين عن ذويهم أو أبنائهم أو أهاليهم الذين اعتقلوا أو فقدوا .
2- محاولة التحقق من أماكن وجود المعتقلين .
3- تكليف المحامين لزياراتهم وتقديم النصح لهم .

4- اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية أمام محاكم دول الاحتلال لحماية المعتقلين وفق قوانين تلك الدول.
5- رفع الدعاوى في قضايا القتل والعدوان والتعذيب وفق قوانين دول الاحتلال والقانون الدولي.
6- رفع الدعاوى في قضايا الحجز غير القانوني والتعذيب وإلزام دول الاحتلال إما بإطلاق سراح المعتقل أو محاكمته وفق القانون.
وإن هيئة الاسناد سوف تتبنى قضية أي عراقي تم حجزه أو اعتقاله دون سند من أي قانون مشروع, وظل رهن الحبس غير المحدد الأجل من دون تقديمه إلى محكمة قانونية, متعرضاً للتعذيب الوحشي في مراكز اعتقال وتجميع لم تشهد البشرية لها مثيلاً من أيام النازية.
وهي من أجل ذلك بحاجة للدعم المعنوي (والمادي,) وذلك بتزويدها بالمعلومات والمال.
وعليه فإن هيئة الاسناد للدفاع تدعو كل الخيرين في العالم الذين تهمهم كرامة الإنسان التي نص عليها رب العزة في قوله: ولقد كرمنا بني آدم وحملناهم في البر والبحر ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم على كثير ممن خلقنا تفضيلاً وذلك للتبرع لجمعية حملة الدفاع القانوني عن المحتجزين العراقيين على الحساب التالي في بريطانيا:

An announcement by
Defense and Support Committee of
President Saddam Hussein , His Comrades and all
P. o. W. s and Detainees in Iraq. (ISNAD)

Iraq was invaded and occupied without any legal or concrete cause but
just to satisfy ungrounded illusions.

Since then crimes have continued against the Iraqi people who face daily
acts of killing, torturing and plundering. More than 100. 000 Iraqis
have been killed in addition to tens of thousands of detainees who are
imprisoned in undisclosed centers where striking violations to the very
basic human rights are committed in ways that dismay humanity.

An unidentified number of Iraqi detainees have died and many of them suffered
permanent injuries or disability.

Huge numbers of Iraqis suffered enforced disappearance while international
organizations still escape their duties to secure regular and safe access
to those detainees. International organizations are doing nothing to
implement the related international and humanitarian laws and norms to
stop this terrible deterioration of human values.

ISNAD is trying to confront such violations to human rights and mankind
dignity through the following means:

1- To gather information about those disappeared on and detainees from
their families and relatives.
2- To detect and disclose the sites and centers of detention.
3- To assign lawyers to get access to the detainees and to provide them
with legal advice.
4- To protect the human rights of the detainees in accordance with the
prevailing laws in the states that occupy Iraq by taking legal actions
before the courts of these states.
5- To file lawsuits against acts of aggression, murders and torture crimes
in accordance with related international and domestic laws of occupying
states.
6- To take legal actions that may oblige the occupying states either to
release every detainee or to bring him before a qualified court.

ISNAD will take up and assume all possible legal actions on behalf of any
Iraqi who has been arrested or imprisoned indefinitely without being brought
before a legal court facing fierce torture that had not been witnessed
since the days of the Nazis.

For this, ISNAD is in need for both material and immaterial support by
money and information. ISNAD appeals to all people of rightness to contribute
