Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities From 5 to 11/12/2004
In the name of God most merciful most compassionate
17 military communiqués were issued by the Supreme Command of the Iraqi Resistance:
During the period from 5 to 11/12/2004, the Supreme Command of the Iraqi Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued 17 military communiqués on their heroic clashes and redemptive operations against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators in: Baghdad, Fallujah, Sa’marra, Mosul, Basra, Baquba, Tikrit, Alramadi, Karkouk, Karbala, Suliamania, Haditha, Aldor and in various parts of the country. The communiqués had summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators as follows: · 169 killed. · 240 injured. · The bombing of an oilfield in Karkouk, and the destruction of 3 vital oil pipelines in Karkouk, Khani’qeen and Basra. · 18 tanks and armored vehicles were destroyed. · 38 military and police vehicles were destroyed. · The shooting of one helicopter and 2 aircrafts were damaged.
Meantime, the communiqués stressed the resistance stands previously declared, and regarding the latest developments, nationally, regionally and internationally which are outlined as follows:
1. The practical classing of the various Iraqi field powers today, provided no chance to the hypocrites and mercenaries to dodge and deceive the masses and the simple people. And as we have seen, all the evil forces, defaced by falsehood and slander who resort to the pretext of religion- were unveiled and the blemishes of proofs and allegations of the satanic forces- the spearhead of the occupation in Iraq the great, were disclosed in addition to Shalabi, Allawi and Alhakeem.. Thus, the redemptive resistance with their mujahideen, were capable of showing our Iraqi people and our Arab Nation, the interlacing of trenches with one another, not only in Iraq, but throughout the Arab region, and revealing the cancerous tumors spreading in the nation’s body that ought to be eradicated. 2. It was said by the great people of Iraq from Zakho to Al-fa’wo, and from Qaser Shereen to Mujamaa’ Alqadisiya that: NO to the elections under the shadow of the detestable occupation.. and YES to the armed popular resistance for the liberation of Iraq, and the occupation forces will not find actors to perform their farce ( the so-called elections ) except their allies who participated in the invasion and the occupation of Iraq so as to contend with the occupation. Hence, two lists appeared for the elections: one belongs to the occupation and their close agents such as Allawi, Alya’wor, Asmaidi’ei etc, and the other belongs to Iran incorporating: Alhakeem, Shalabi, Assestani, Aljaafari, Hizbollah etc.. Therefore, the occupation will vote themselves and for themselves in this farce that will be directed by the Anglo-American occupation and outlined- regrettably- by Al-Akhdar Al-Ibrahimi and unfortunately as well played by- in addition to the occupation- the neighboring countries (Arabs and Muslims alike), while the role of compilation was performed by the current puppet government. Thus, the election farce will be born dead- by the will of God- as wished by the great people of Iraq and their redemptive vanguards, and the wrongdoers shall soon know their inevitable doomed fate. 3. This is to emphasize that all the alleged voting stations- if they are set up- will be the target of mujahideen’s attacks and their missiles, and we therefore warn of the consequences of underestimating this warning, and all local citizens are kindly advised not to participate in the elections and stay in their homes to avoid any harm or danger to their lives, as the occupation forces are unable to provide protection to themselves, let alone offering protection to others!! 4. With this explicit classing of trenches between the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators, and the national and patriotic forces, the redemptive Islamic and democratic to liberate Iraq and the nation, and there is no longer room to fabricate pretexts by any power, group, party or individual to stand in the middle and watch (to be neutral) between the two trenches, but all must define one and clear stand: either to join the occupation forces and their satellites, or to remain faithful to the country with its redemptive power. Neutrality in such situation is an enmity to the nation and its interests.
Scenes of Jihad and Resistance:
1. American soldiers in Iraq are suffering severe injuries: In an attempt to monitor the condition of the surgeons and the medical team, under the authority of the American navel forces, it was evident that those doctors and surgeons originally work for Bravo Firm for Surgery and are known as “The conquerors of death” because of their high medical skills, are spending their days in Iraq under an immense psychological struggle, as they continuously ask themselves: For how long are we going to endure these pressures?- owing to the gravity of the injuries inflicted on the American soldiers on the hands of the resistance forces. One of the American surgeons called Mathew Kamoso from Los Angeles said: the injuries that we have to deal with in this country are something that we never experienced at home, in the past, I had dealt with injuries resulted from firearms or stabbings, but what we are witnessing here is an entirely different situation, because our soldiers are literally being bombed in Iraq. On the other hand, Dr. Michael Mazourik, a specialist in psychological traumas and Osteo-surgeon from Philadelphia said “I have seen horrifying injuries during the last three months which is the period I have been staying in Iraq so far, the bombs which are used in the ambushes against our soldiers are certainly ferocious and have horrific destructive power”. The Associated Press Agency had indicated that these same points of views are adopted by doctors of Bravo Firm for Surgery who work with the mobile medical units which provide first aid to the American soldiers in regions were they get injured, before they are transported to large military hospitals, either in Iraq, Europe or the USA. The Associated Press reported that Dr. Kenneth Kalihier a 58 years old captain in the American navel force said “we discovered that the main factor which significantly contribute in saving the lives of our injured soldiers, is the speed in bringing them to us to perform the vital and urgent surgical operations they need to stop severe bleeding or to save their limbs rather than amputating them”. On the other hand, Dr. Mazourik age 36, stressed that since the outbreak of hostilities in Fallujah, the injuries became more diversified and serious, especially that the American doctors are asked to provide the necessary medical care to the Iraqi security forces involved in the clashes. Dr. Mazourik said “the most difficult decision we are impelled to take is in fact the amputation of our soldiers’ limbs, but sadly we are obliged to take such decisions in many situations”.
2. An American soldier discloses America’s scandal in Iraq: A soldier from the American occupation forces in Iraq revealed a grave scandal during a speech delivered by the American Defense Secretary Donald Ramsfeld before a gathering of his soldiers in Kuwait. According to the BBC, the soldier interrupted his Secretary of Defense and asked him the reason the American soldiers have to dig the battle ground looking for scrap metal to repair their damaged highly developed armored vehicles. According to the analysis of some experts in the military affairs, there are two possibilities that impelled the US Defense Department to fall into this dilemma: the incapability to meet the high expenditure due to the severe damages inflicted on the American military war machine which proofs the miscalculation of their expected losses prior to the outbreak of war; and the difficulty in transporting new military equipment at this status quo, and in the shadow of the escalation in the resistance activities especially with the resistance’s gains being achieved at the borders of most major cities and towns which means the disruption of supply lines to the American occupation forces.
3. Fierce clashes in Alramadi between the valorous resistance men and the American marines: Baghdad: Eye-witnesses reported that a fight broke out on Wednesday between members from the resistance forces controlling Alramadi, and the American marines, following the killing of 2 Iraqis immediately after a car bomb attack. With the continuing of clashes in Alramadi, the number of those killed in the northern city of Sa’marra escalated to six. A spokesman in a nearby hospital said that 4 civilians and 2 policemen were killed. Fighters were heard zooming over the sky of Alramadi and eye-witnesses reported that an American armored vehicle was set ablaze and columns of smoke were also seen over the sky of an American base came under attack by mortar shells. The clashes were extended from the town center to the industrial district in the east, following an attack by a fedayee on an American military checkpoint were 2 civilians killed and no immediate reports of any American losses. Alramadi, which is approximately 110 km west of Baghdad, remained the stronghold of the Iraqi armed resistance and the capital of the troubled Al-anbar province, and was dominated by the resistance forces for over the past 6 months or more, likewise Fallujah which became another stronghold against the American forces. Eye-witnesses also reported that an exchange of shooting occurred on Tuesday night in east of Alramadi and mortar shells were launched on an American military base at the western part of the town center. The American and the Iraqi forces hoped to improve security before the alleged elections set for 30-1-2005, though the mujahideen continued their attacks even after the destruction of Fallujah- the toughest stronghold- by the American fighters and tanks. At daybreak today, a car bomb attacked was launched against an American patrol south of Baghdad, and a spokesman from the American army said 2 soldiers were injured, though eye-witnesses reported that many Americans were injured.
4. Four supply lorries were destroyed and 10 US soldiers were killed in Attaji, Almushahida, Alhurri’ya and Alghazaliya: The resistance forces had launched four different attacks in separate regions, north and south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. 10 US soldiers were killed and a number of supply lorries and other vehicles were destroyed. A number of bombs were detonated at approximately 9.00 am in Alghazaliya south of Baghdad resulted in the destruction of a Hummer and a US lorry, the attack also resulted in the killing of 5 US soldiers. In Alhurri’ya district- Aldol’ei- in Baghdad, a bomb was detonated at approximately 10.30 am on Wednesday resulted in the damage of a supply truck for the occupation forces, killing one soldier and injuring another. At 12.30 pm, a bomb was detonated in Almushahida district south of Baghdad, resulted in the destruction of one military truck and the damage of an armored vehicles type “Bradley”. This is in addition to the killing of 2 US soldiers and the injuring of another. In 14 Tammouz district in Attaji north of Baghdad, an American military line came under attack at approximately 4.30 pm, a supply lorry carrying tires and mineral water was hit and destroyed by C5K missile killing 2 US soldiers.
5. Downfall is on the way! 5500 US soldiers deserted military service in Iraq: The CBN News Network indicated on Tuesday, that the Pentagon acknowledged that since the outbreak of war on Iraq, 5500 US soldiers had already deserted their military service and some of them are now seeking asylum in Canada. The CBN indicated that among the US soldiers who deserted the US army because they didn’t wish to fight in Iraq, was a 26 years old Jeremy Hienzman whom the Canadian court of Toronto considers his claim for asylum. Hienzman , from Rapid City, joined the US army in January 2001 and served in the 82 air-borne Division. Hienzman indicated that he never had any desire to desert the US army so easily. He said “I have signed a contract service for 4 years and I was really hoping to complete this period, but all I hoped for was not to get involved in any tasks incorporating hostilities”. Following the court session in which Hienzman appeared before a Canadian court, his lawyer expects a memo to be published by the judicial authority regarding his case in the 24th Jan 2005, followed by a court decision at an earliest possible time as related by the Toronto Sun newspaper. The CBN pointed out that currently, many US soldiers endeavor to obtain specific legal status which may provide them a justification to raise an objection to serve in the army in some regions, as the US soldiers had done during the Vietnam war and were entitled to seek asylum in Canada. The CBN indicated that many of the soldiers have joined the army primarily for financial reasons to support themselves, and when they found out the ferocity of war in Iraq, they deserted the military service. Media sources referred in a number of situations to the cases of the US soldiers deserting the military service across to Syria and Jordan, because of the fierce Iraqi resistance which incited many analysts to describe the morale of the US soldiers in Iraq as: in a continuous decline. In addition to the recent comments on official sources reported the number of wounded in the war is more than 30000, many of them in need of psychological care.
6. During 3 days in Fallujah: 44 killed, 16 tanks and 9 Hummers were destroyed, and a helicopter type “Black Hawk” was shot down: The Iraqi resistance in Fallujah has declared the heavy losses inflicted on the occupation forces during the last 3 days. The resistance forces managed to shoot down a helicopter type “Black Hawk” on Wednesday afternoon at Annazzal quarter south of Fallujah. The communiqué indicated that the helicopter was directly hit by a missile type “Strailla”. As for the clashes during the last 3 days, the communiqué declared the killing of 44 US soldiers, the destruction of 16 tanks and 9 vehicles type “Hummer”, On the other hand, 11 mujahideen were killed during that period, 2 of them were killed in a redemptive operation in a car bomb attack.

Two American aircrafts made an emergency landing at Saddam International Airport after being hit by missiles: On Thursday, the Iraqi resistance targeted 2 American aircrafts and were force landed, one at Saddam International Airport, and the other one at a runway near Attaji. And in Sabaa Alboor district near Attaji on Thursday 2.15 am, the resistance forces managed to target a military cargo plane by C5K missile and was partially set ablaze, though it continued its flight until it made an emergency landing at a runway near Attaji.
8. The occupation acknowledge their failure to crush the Iraqi resistance in Fallujah: The American occupation forces in Iraq have acknowledged the continuous resistance’s attacks in Fallujah, indicating that they failed to crush the resistance completely in the town during the military operations that have been going on for more than a month in Fallujah west of Baghdad. One of the American occupation’s commanders acknowledged the continuity of the Iraqi resistance’s attacks against them in Fallujah, indicating that the American forces have failed to crush the resistance completely in the troubled city. Major Jim West, from the Marine Division said “the American onslaught on Fallujah incurred terrible harm on the armed Iraqis, but did not rid of them, and violence will continue even if the elections have succeeded”. Major West indicated “we can not say that we broke their back, but we certainly managed to strike them severely and cripple their operations. The elections will not be a sudden victory on the rebellion, we believe that the rebels will endeavor to impede every step in the elections process”. On the other hand, the resistance forces have launched a series of attacks during the last few weeks against the occupation forces and their collaborators, and they still target the occupation forces before the national council elections set for the 30th Jan 2005.
9. A redemptive operation to break into Abu-ghraib prison resulted in the bombing of one of the prison’s watch towers: Last Thursday, 4 fedayeen carried out a redemptive operation against the occupation forces in Abu-ghraib prison, their aim was to break into the prison, an attempt considered to be the first of its type. 4 fedayeen broke through the prison security barrier and succeeded in breaking into the first security barrier, consisting of barb wires and concrete barricades. The communiqué added that when the American forces approached the building, the mujahideen split themselves into two groups; one group went northward of the building, and the other southward, impelling the American forces to seek refuge inside the booby-trapped building where the resistance forces detonated the bombs and large explosions were heard throughout the city, and some nearby building were cracked, as the booby-trapped building was completely destroyed and leveled to the ground, killing at least 40 US marines.
