From 12 to 17/12/2004

In the name of God most merciful most compassionate

The losses of the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators:

During the period from 12 to 17/12/2004, the Supreme Command of the Iraqi Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued 13 military communiqués, summarizing the outcomes of their heroic clashes and redemptive operations against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators, and outlining the daily losses inflicted on the occupation forces and their allies in: Baghdad, Fallujah, Basra, Mosul, Karkouk, Alramadi, Biji, Almeqdadiya, Attaji and in other regions of Iraq. The overall losses were as follows:

  • 124 killed.
  • 187 injured.
  • A Polish helicopter was shot down in Karkouk.
  • 21 tanks and armored vehicles were destroyed.
  • 51 vehicles were destroyed.
  • 4 key oil pipelines for transporting oil through chief ports were set ablaze.

The communiqués reiterated the following stands:

  1. The Ba’ath and the leadership of the resistance will not abandon their arms until they expel the last occupation soldier and cleanse the Iraqi society from the occupation’s agents and their mercenaries.
  2. The occupation’s agents along with their mercenaries and collaborators- no matter where they come from- are and will be the targets for the heroic resistance and there will be no difference between them and the occupation forces, and our prime target will always be the puppet government and its various institutions.
  3. The horrifying vicious crimes and the episode of genocide conducted by the occupation forces and the traitors from Bader and Bashmarka forces in Fallujah, Al-anbar, Karkouk, Basra etc, will not go unpunished. The Ba’ath and the redemptive resistance factions vowed to avenge the atrocities and fully retake the rights of Iraq and the Iraqis more so, and duly punish the war criminals and the neo-fascists at the earliest possible time.
  4. We say to Karazi of Iraq “Allawi”, that your days and the occupations are numbered and closer than ever, so rejoice with your masters at your cursed inevitable doomed fate.
  5. The valorous redemptive resistance, now that it has finalized its organizational and combative network throughout the entire boroughs and provinces of Iraq, it became the leader of the armed popular revolution towards the liberation, and by the will of God, the determination of mujahideen is closer than ever from achieving the ultimate historical goal.

Epics of Mujahideen and Scenes of Jihad:

American media: A partner in silence on the mass American massacre in Fallujah:

An article on World Socialist Website, David Wolsh criticized the American media’s silence on the episode of genocide and and the vicious atrocities perpetrated- and still- by the American forces in Fallujah. Wolsh, who based his information on the correspondent of the British newspaper “Times” which had published pictures of the American massacres in Fallujah, who said that the long range artillery and missile shelling and the onslaught of the US fighters had transformed many quarters in Fallujah into ruins. What the correspondent had witnessed in those quarters which were completely leveled to the ground on the heads of their inhabitants, women, children and the elderly, recalled similar scenes experienced in the Lebanese capital Beirut during the Israeli invasion to Lebanon. Mr. Wolsh quoted a correspondent of “Christian Saanes Molintorwho said “the odor of the cadavers of the destructive bombing victims by missiles, artilleries and aerial bombardment is spreading everywhere under the debris, the smell of the cadavers was so strong specially with the season of sandstorms in that area. He added that the efforts of breaking through the city- following the extensive bombing over a full week- made by the US forces added more destruction and suffering of the inhabited quarters in an area no more than 4 square miles.

On the other hand, Wolsh quoted Majori Cun, a lawyer and a professor at the University of Thomas Jefferson in the United States and the Vice Executive Director of the National Union of Lawyers in the United States who indicated “the onslaught on Fallujah was initiated by the explicit violation of the International Law in the savage attack on Fallujah General Hospital and the prevention of doctors and ambulances from entering the troubled zones to rescue the wounded, an act, considered to be an immediate violation of the Geneva Conventions”. He added “the torture activities, the intentional killing and the inhuman treatment of the Iraqis by the American forces are all grave violation of the conventions ratified by the United States which classify such activities as war crimes according to the American Federal Law issued in 1996.

At the final part of the article, Wolsh directed his questions- described as important and pressing- to the American newspapers, chiefly the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times:

-         When are the editors of these newspapers going to realize that the attacks on the Iraqi civilian- as happening in Fallujah and other Iraqi cities- is the worst and the most savage option?

-          When will this voracity stop them from killing, after destroying one city…five…or tens of cities?

-         Will this voracity stop by the killing of a thousand Iraqis… a hundred thousand…half a million… or a million?

Wolsh stressed that these massacres have more so complicated the status quo in Iraq and will undoubtedly double the hatred of the Iraqis, the Arabs and the Muslims to America, and will frustrate the American plans in Iraq!!
