In the name of God most merciful most compassionate
1. Loss inflicted on the occupation Forces , their mercenaries and their collaborators: During the period from 13 to 19/2/2005, the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued 13 military communiqués on their redemptive operations and heroic clashes against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators. The communiqués have summed up the enemies’ losses in: Baghdad, Suliamania, Dahook, Basra, Mosul, Alramadi, Karbala, Baquba, Tikrit, Alq’em, Karkouk, Aldour, Arrabta, Alhabania, Tallafer, etc 178 killed 202 injured A helicopter type “Black Hawk” was shot down One cargo plane was shot down 21 armored vehicles were destroyed 2 oilfields were set ablaze 3 main oil pipelines were destroyed 38 various vehicles were destroyed
The primary outcome of clashes… 40 US soldiers killed and wounded when a cargo plane was shot down over Arrabta. A US cargo plane was shot down by a missile last Monday morning in north of Arrabta town, 23 US soldiers were killed and another 17 were injured. Reporters said that the US helicopters were flying over the area back and forth carrying the dead and wounded to the US military base A22 near the Customs Department, as the US forces surrounded the town and a state of fear and suspense dominated the town of what might be the reaction of the occupation forces against the local people in the wake of the shooting down of the plane. Reporters have indicated that they saw a surface to air missile being launched and the plane was directly hit.
The US Forces withdraw from Aain Al-assad base: At the early hours of Monday’s daybreak, the US forces began to withdraw from Aain Al-assad Air Base at Hait west of Baghdad. Eye-witnesses said that they saw the withdrawal of more than 300 US tanks, armored vehicles, and other winch and traction-type vehicles protected by a heavy cover of fighters flying at an unprecedented altitude, in addition to helicopters type Black Hawk and Cobra flying over the US military line that had closed the highway. It was believed that withdrawn US forces were heading east towards Baghdad. Local citizens and members of the Iraqi Resistance Forces in Hait reckon that the withdrawal of these forces came after a declaration of the US forces in a press conference in Baghdad that Aain Al-assad Air Base have militarily fallen, following the continuous and relentless launching of the resistance’s missiles at the heart of the base, plus the admitting of killing of 44 US soldiers in one week by the Iraqi Resistance’s missiles on that base.
The Resistance’s onslaught in S’amarra killed 20 US soldiers: At 6.00 am last Monday, fierce clashes broke out between the American forces and the Iraqi Resistance Forces at Almutasem quarter in Sa’marra which had lasted for an hour and a quarter. Reporters who witnessed most of the clashes said that the Resistance Forces have used light conventional weapons such as automatic rifles mortars and anti armored vehicles missiles which have resulted in the destruction of 2 Hummers, one tank and one Humvee. Eye-witnesses said that more than 20 US soldiers were killed in the clashes and another 5 were injured, most of them in critical states. A member of the Iraqi Police Forces indicated that militants from the Iraqi Resistance Forces have made use of the streets being clear of passers-by, so they set an ambush for the American forces who were encircled through three streets, forcing them to remain in one street and preventing them from any chance of avoiding confrontation. The Resistance Forces made use of the advantage of the tanks and armored vehicles being so large and bulky to maneuver in narrow streets, so they were subject to the Resistance’s onslaught that was carried out in accordance with the well-Known military plan exercised in the battle of Fallujah known as “You see them from where they can not see you”. The source added that the Resistance Forces have succeeded in perfecting one of the most vital tactics, that is the sudden onslaught on the Americans, who no sooner had they recovered from the first attack than they were assailed with a volley of attacks, which explains that the Resistance Forces had hardly suffered any casualties other than three wounded. The source who preferred not to disclose his name to the reporters also added that if he had means of making living other than being a policeman, he would’ve left the police force and joined the Resistance Forces. He said “I am a man who believes in the resistance to expel the occupation and I swear to God that I feel extremelythrilled at every time I see an American soldier lying soaked in the street in his own blood, only the bastards who love the occupation and I am glad I’m not one of them”.
An American Apache was shot down by one of the Resistance’s missiles at Hait: The Iraqi Resistance in Hait west of Baghdad have succeeded in shooting down one US Apache on Wednesday. Eye-witnesses said that the Iraqi Resistance shot down one helicopter type Apache over “Albou-Assaf” region and all who were on board were killed at once. Albou-Assaf region which is situated west of Hait had witnessed during the last few days an attack on the American forces that had resulted in the destruction of one Hummer, killing three US soldiers and injuring another. This attack had triggered an outbreak of clashes between the American forces supported by fighters and helicopters, and the Resistance Forces in the northern and the western quarters of the town.
