Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

With a faith symbolizing their justifiable living in this world , and with a trust in God's performed promise to his righteous servants which can not be shaken or dismayed by the terrors of doomsday , the valorous Iraqi Mujahideen stand up today to the most insolent and tyrannical power on earth with chests utterly divested of everything except of the belief in God and their just cause , hoisting up with the utmost sense of honor and pride the flag of jihad that the Almighty God has ordained upon the believers to defend the faith , the country , honor and dignity , disregarding  "The desert Arabs" whom God stated his word on them in his Holy book ( The Quran ) . so , blessed be them , blessed be their victorious battalions "The Iraqi Army Forces , Feeda’yeen Saddam , Alfarouk Battalions , Ba'ath Battalions , Al-Hussein Forces , the Republican Guard Forces etc .. " which their names bring terror and dismay , nay , insanity into the minds of the invaders and their agents.

We hereunder state the typical redemptive operations included in some communiqués issued by the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces which we attained during the period from the 18th to the 24th of January 2004 from a source of several communiqués issued during a period in which the daily average operations against the invasion forces as we have known was more then 20 redemptive operation per day .

 

On 18-1-2004

 

1- An American military patrol came under attack outside Aldiwaniya town south of Baghdad the attack has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the injuring of three others , in addition to the damaging of one Humvee .  

 

2- An American military patrol came under attack when it was enticed into an ambush implanted with explosives north of Tikrit , the operation has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers , and the injuring of four others , three various vehicles were also destroyed in the attack .

 

3- A booby-trapped vehicle type "Mercedes-Benz" went off by a remote control device when an American military patrol went past it in the center of Tikrit , the expulsion has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers , and the injuring of three others , a Humvee was also destroyed in the attack.

 

4- A booby-trapped vehicle went off by a remote control device when a British military patrol went past it in Basra. The explosion has resulted in the killing of one British soldier , and seriously injuring two others , a vehicle type Land Rover was also destroyed during the operation .

 

5- An attack was carried out on a joint checkpoint near Alhowayja town sixty kilometers west of Karkouk , the attack has resulted in the killing of two people, one of them was an American, and the injuring of six others, two of them were Americans, one tank and a vehicle type Humvee were set ablaze .

 

6- A typical suicidal attack was carried out on the Headquarters of the American forces high command " The Presidential Palace " which embodies the residential quarters and offices of the American Civilian Governor "Bremer" and the American forces’ High Command. A vehicle type Helix was carrying half a ton of explosives was used in the           attack. The operation has resulted in the killing of 25 people , among them 15 American soldiers and officers 130 people were injured in the attack , among them were 120 American soldiers and officers , in addition to the destruction of two tanks , four various military vehicles , besides the damages inflicted on the palace gate .

A communiqué issued by the Supreme Command of the Resistance Forces said : "The Resistance Forces defies the invasion forces in broad daylight , and in their increasingly fortified locations. Verily , our Iraqi people shall witness many of these redemptive epics during the coming days " .

 

On 19-1-2004

 

1- The American Air Base in Alhabaniya came under attack supported by an extensive artillery and missile attack , the operation has resulted in the killing of three American soldiers , and the injuring of eight others , in addition to the destruction of two tanks and an armored personnel carrier ( A.P.C ) . Fires and columns of smokes were seen inside the base , as warning sirens were sounded , and helicopters were flying over the city .

 

2- An extensive artillery and missile attack was carried out by the Resistance forces on Karkouk airport which the American forces use as their main high command Headquarters.

A communiqué issued by the Resistance and Liberation Forces has indicated that the attack has accomplished its pursued objectives, and large explosions were heard echoing inside the airport , as fires and columns of smoke were seen in more than one location inside the airport . 

 

3- An R.P.G ( Rocket propelled Grenade ) attack was carried out from a moving vehicle on an American checkpoint on the bridgehead of the 14 Tamouz suspension bridge , the attack has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers , and the injuring of four others , in addition to the destruction of one A.P.C and a medium machine gun .

 

4- An American military patrol came under attack on the highway in Tikrit city , the attack has resulted in the killing of one American soldier,  and the injuring of three others , an A.P.C was also set ablaze in the attack .

 

5- A train carrying American troops and military supplies and equipments came under attack following its departure from Althartha'ar Train Station on the railway line Karkouk-Alqa'em , the attack has resulted in the killing of eight American soldiers , and the injuring of more than ten in addition to the destruction of four carriages including their contents of        supplies and equipments .

 

On 20-1-2004

 

1- The "Republican Place" the residential quarter and offices of the American Civilian Governor "Bremer" and the Headquarters of the American forces high command adjacent to the palace both came under an expensive artillery and missile shelling. Immediately after the shelling, warning sirens were heard and helicopters flew over the scene of the attack , and fires and columns of smoke were seen from the entire Green district which embodies these facilities. This is the second attack that has target this area during the last 48 hours .

 

2- An American military patrol came under a hand grenade attack in Abu-Ghareeb district , the attack has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the injuring of another , a Humvee was also set ablaze in the attack .

 

3- A remote control device has detonated implanted bombs on the main street in Alshardha district inside the capital Baghdad when an American military patrol was passing by , the explosion has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the inuring of three others , a vehicle type "Hummer" was also destroyed in the attack .

 

4- One of the snipping units of the resistance forces has succeeded in shooting dead one American soldier in one of the sentry points scattered throughout the stadium , which the American forces use as its center of concentration inside the capital Baghdad .

 

5- An American military line came under attack on the highway in the entrance of the center of Rayhana district east of Alqa'em town , the attack has resulted in the killing of four American soldiers , and the injuring of three others , in addition to the destruction of three various vehicles .

 

On 21-1-2004

 

1- An American military line came under attack on the highway road in new Baghdad , the attack has resulted in the killing of four American soldiers , and the injuring of six others, two Humvees were also destroyed in the attack .

 

2- An American military patrol has been enticed to one of Mosul streets , in which its sides were implanted with bombs, the bombs were exploded, upon passing the American patrol, by the implanted bombs , the explosions joined by a hand grenade attack and automatic rifles shooting launched by the resistance forces have resulted in the killing of four       American soldiers, and the injuring of three others , three various vehicles were also destroyed during the operation .

 

3- The Alrasheed Hotel which is dedicated to reside senior officers and advisers of the American Administration as well as senior officials of the C.I.A and the Mosad secret service came under artillery and missile attack which has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers , and the injuring of five others as well inflicting damages on some parts of the hotel stories . 

 

4- An attack was carried out on the American military base in Ba'quba , the attack has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers, and the injuring of six others in addition to the destruction of one tank , a troop carrier , and fuel tank .               

 

On 22-1-2004

 

1- An attack was carried on an American military line on the southern entrance of Ba'quba , the attack has resulted in the killing of three American soldiers , and the injuring of another, in addition to the destruction of one tank and two military vehicles .

 

2- An American military patrol came under attack in Fallouja , which has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the injuring of three others , in addition to the destruction of one Humvee .

 

3- A joint checkpoint on the highway road between Fallouja and Alramadi west of the capital Baghdad came under attack which has resulted in the killing of five people among them were two American soldiers , and the injuring of two others , in addition to the destruction of one A.P.C , and one police vehicle , also one Humvee was set ablaze during the attack .

 

4- A bus guarded by several of the invasion forces vehicles carrying local and American personnel working for the American intelligence service , was on its way to the American military base in Alhabaniya west of Baghdad when it came under attack which has resulted in the killing of ten people, four of the dead were agents from different                   nationalities , and the other six were Americans. This is in addition to the injuring of three others and the destruction of the bus and one Humvee .

 

5- A Spanish military patrol in Aldiwaniya came under a hand grenade and automatic rifle attack which has resulted in the killing of one Spanish soldier , and the injuring of three others among them was the commander of the Spanish forces in Aldiwaniya who was critically injured. A military vehicle was also set ablaze in the attack .

 

On 23-1-2004

 

1- An American military convoy came under attack near the center of Rabas district north of Karkouk , the attack has resulted in the killing of three American soldiers , and the injuring of two others , in addition to the destruction of one tank and two military vehicles .

 

2- An American military line came under attack on the highway road adjacent to Tel-omer west of Almada'en district south of the capital Baghdad , the attack has resulted in the killing of four American soldiers and the injuring of six others , in addition to the destruction of one tank , a troop carrier , and two Humvees.

 

3- An American military convoy came under attack on the highway near Biji district , the attack has resulted in the killing of two American soldiers,  and the injuring of four others , in addition to the destruction of one tank , a troop carrier , and a military Jeep .

 

4- An American military patrol in Alghales district north – east Baghdad came under attack which has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the injuring of three others , in addition to the destruction of a Humvee .

 

5- An American military patrol came under a hand grenade attack at Nafaq Alshordha in the capital Baghdad , the attack has resulted in the killing of one American soldier and the injuring of two others , a Humvee was also set ablaze during the attack. 

 

6- Implanted bombs on the highway of the northern entrance of Mosul were detonated when an American military patrol was passing by , the operation has resulted in the killing of one American soldier , and the injuring of two others , in addition to the destruction of a Humvee .

 

7- A British military patrol came under attack in Alamiriya which has resulted in the killing of one British soldier , and the injuring of three others , in addition to the destruction of a Land Rover .

 

8- The valorous Resistance Forces have succeeded in shooting down one helicopter type " Kwia " near Alqiyada town north of Mosul. Both crew members of the helicopter were killed , and their bodies were scattered with the helicopter wreckage .

 

On 24-1-2004                                                                                                                                                      1- An American military convoy came under attack on the highway road near Fallouja , the attack has resulted in the killing of three American soldiers , and the injuring of five others , in addition to the destruction of one tank and three various vehicles.

 

2- A suicidal attack by a booby-trapped vehicles was carried out on an American military convoy under "Alsadiqiya" bridge in Alkhalidiya district , the attack has targeted a troop carrier in the middle of the convoy, the troop carrier was carrying more than twenty American soldiers. The operation has resulted in the killing of twenty American soldiers , and the injuring of eight others , most of them were seriously wounded. This is in addition to the destruction of one tank , a troop carrier , and three various military vehicles .

 

3- Implanted bombs were detonated by a remote control device upon the passing of an American military convoy north of Fallouja , the operation has resulted in the killing of three American soldiers , and the injuring of four others , in addition to the destruction of two military vehicles .

 

4- A booby-trapped vehicle was detonated when it was parked opposite the American forces’ Headquarters in Samara adjacent to Samara Court of Justice , the explosion has resulted in the killing of five American soldiers and three of their local agents (Traitors) , in addition to the injuring of more than thirty others , and destruction of several vehicles within the perimeter of the incident .
