Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

The losses of the occupation forces and their mercenaries:

 

During the period from 17 to 23/4/2005, the Supreme Command of the Iraqi Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued 17 military communiqués on their redemptive operations and heroic clashes against the occupation forces carried out in: Baghdad, Saddam International Airport, Aljamhouriya street, Aldoura, Al-Aamel quarter, Almansour, Almuthanna airport, Alamiriya, Aladthamiya, Althora city, Alshordha quarter, Alharithiya, Abu-ghraib, Almesbah, Palestine street, Alkathimiya, Alqa’em, Mosul, Tallafer, Alramadi, Sulaimania, Arbeel, Basra, Najaf, Almada’en, Alrattba, Tikrit, Sa’marra, Karkouk, Fallujah, baquba, Aldour..

The overall losses of the occupation forces were summed up as follows:

  • 255 killed.
  • 315 injured.
  • 3 helicopters were shot down.
  • 2 un-manned reconnaissance planes were shot down.
  • 4 main oil pipelines were set ablaze.
  • 21 armored vehicles were destroyed.
  • 43 various vehicles were destroyed.

 

Epics and heroic scenes of the redemptive resistance in Iraq:

 

The resistance forces shot down one US un-manned reconnaissance plane over Altarimiya:

On Thursday evening 20/4/2005,the Iraqi resistance militants have managed to shoot down one US un-manned reconnaissance plane over Altarimiya region north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

Eye-witnesses in Altarimiya said that the plane was shot down around 3 pm local time. The source added that the Us army found the wreckage in Ashatt Asharqi-Atarimiya region following the encircling of the entire region and the arrest of 5 local citizens without providing any evidence for their arrest.

 

Six Americans were killed as one Bulgarian helicopter was shot down in Iraq:

According to Reuters news agency, the Bulgarian “Hailey Air” company- the owner of the doomed helicopter- declared on Thursday 21st of April, the shooting down of one of their helicopter with the death of 11 personnel, among them are 6 American civilians.

An official spokesman from the said company stated that the helicopter type MI 8 was carrying a crew of 3 Bulgarians, 6 Americans and 2 guards without indicating their identities. All those who were on board were killed. Other official source said that a total of 9 people were killed in the incident.

 

 

 

Four US soldiers were killed and five injured in a bomb attack in Mosul:

An official Iraqi source appointed by the occupation, declared on Friday 22nd  of April that 4 US soldiers were killed and 5 others were injured in a highly explosive bomb attack on an American armored vehicles in Almamoun quarter north of Mosul.

On their part, the American army acknowledged the attack through a local broadcasting station in Mosul without given further details on the incident.

 

An explosion of a land-mine killed 9 US soldiers west of Baquba:

Nine US soldiers were killed in Baquba following Friday’s prayer, when a land-mine exploded at a patrol on foot consisting of 20 soldiers who were on their normal patrolling mission during Friday’s sermon in the western part of the town.

On their part, the US forces encircled the area and swiftly picked up the dead bodies following the prevention of Friday’s worshippers from leaving the place of incident before their departure.

 

Four US soldiers were killed in two separate bomb explosions in north of Assaqlawiya:

Militants from the Iraqi resistance have succeeded in destroying on Hummer at 12.30 pm on Thursday 21st of April, as a bomb was planted in a highway roadside at Assaqlawiya, north west of Fallujah.

At 5.30 pm, the resistance militants have detonated  another bomb targeting another US Hummer at the same highway. A total of 4 US soldiers were killed in the two attacks.
