Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

From 11 to 17 July 2004

In the name of God most merciful most compassionate

Through its military and political communiqués, the Supreme Command of the Liberation and the Resistance Forces with its established National Council has affirmed the resistance determination to achieve victory and liberate glorious Iraq this year on the approaching of the battle of Baghdad which will be the start of liberation. During the period from 11 to 17 July 2004, the Supreme Command of the Tesistance and Liberation Forces has issued seven military communiqués in which the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators were summed up during the clashes and operations that were carried out in various parts of the country.

On 11/7/2004

A communiqué has unveiled the state of terror and fear experienced by members of the occupation government due to the relentless strikes of the brave resistance dominating every corner of the country. The communiqué affirmed the resistance’s resolve and determination to target the collaborators and the occupation forces’ various establishments. The communiqué has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations in: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Alqa`em, Tikrit, Karkouk, Mosul, Fallujah, Basra etc.. The losses inflicted on the enemy were as follows: 28 killed, 57 injured, in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 9 various military and police vehicles.

On 12/7/2004

A communiqué has called members of the Iraqi police force not to engage in joint patrol missions with the occupation forces and to abstain  from breaking into homes and spying  on members and militants of the armed resistance should they wish to be in safe situation and not be the target of the resistance. Such ill-actions will be considered by the people of Iraq as high treason and unfaithfulness to God and an advocation for the occupation. The communiqué has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations as follows: 19 killed, 22 injured, in addition to the destruction of one tank, 8 various military and police vehicles, 3 gas and oil locomotives, besides the heavy material losses inflicted on the American Embassy premises as a result of the intensive artillery and missile shelling.

On 13/7/2004

A communiqué has given details of today’s clashes and operations in: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Mosul, Najaf, Tikrit, Alramadi, Alqa`em etc.. The communiqué underlined the suicide operation that had targeted the offices of the CIA agent: Ayyad Allawi, and the clashes in Mosul, Bhiji, and the resistance factions’ control of most highways in central and southern Iraq. The communiqué has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations as follows: 58 killed, 66 injured, in addition to the destruction of 3 tanks, 15 various military and police vehicles, a fuel reservoir and a truck.

On 14/7/2004

Today has witness- according to the communiqué- a heroic and unique battles fought by the resistance mujahideen in Abu-ghraib, Haifa street, Palestine street, Aladthamiya, Aldora district- in the capital Baghdad- besides the memorable clashes and operations carried out in most governates of the country , chiefly in Sa`mara, Al-anbar, Haditha, Karbala, Karkouk, Basra, Tikrit, Alqa`em etc.. During these operations, the mujahideen managed to destroy the main oil pipeline between Karkouk and Bhiji and between Basra and Alfa`ow. The communiqué has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations as follows: 46 killed, 53 injured, in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 7 various military and police vehicles.

On 15/7/2004

A communiqué has referred to the notorious scandals which by God the Almighty’s will were articulated by the spies and agents of the occupation who were brought along on the occupation tanks, namely members of what used to be called “The Governing Council” Who unveiled such accusations and counter- accusations between Aljalabi, Bahr Al-Eloum, Allawi, Bremer, Alhakeem etc.. The communiqué affirmed that the last thing the great people of Iraq would expect from these thieves, gangsters and traitors was such scandals which were brought up with, and shall be pursued and judged by the Iraqi National Regime. The communiqué has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations as follows: 66 killed, 20 injured, in addition to the destruction of one tank and 5 various military and police vehicles.

On 16/7/2004

A communique` has briefly addressed Friday sermon of today which was delivered on behalf of H.H: Muqtada Assdre and dealt with in a sense of poignancy and caution the abrupt Iranian interventions in Iraq which initiate- as H.H:Muqtada Assadre’s sermon has indicated- with the overflowing of the Iraqi market with drugs. These interventions will not be cofined to the turmoil and sabotage which the Iranian Intelligence conducts inside Iraq, particularly in Karbala and Najaf. The communique` has indicated that these events and facts are not new to the people of Iraq and were not dicovered by H.H: Muqtada Assadre in these circumstances which Assadre’s sermon had indicated, however the National Regime and Tammouz revolution had already encountered such events over two decades and warned of the hybrid Iranian agents who were always representing the “ Torjon Horse” for the Iranian regime, particularly in Karbala and Najaf as H.H: Muqtada Assadre’s semon had pointed out.

The communique has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations in: Baghdad, Fallujah, Alramadi, Karbala, Mosul, Sa`mara, Alqa`em, Tikrit, Basra etc. The losses were as follows: 25 killed, 39 injured, in addition to the destruction of one tank and 6 various military and police vehicles.

On 17/7/2004

A communique` has affimed the resistance mujahideen’s continuous control over the towns and districts that have been liberated 15 days ago. The communique` added that most districts and quarters in Baghdad are controlled by the resistance militants at night, and some of them became forbidden zones for the occupation forces. The communique` stressed that the great battle of Baghdad is on its way and this year will witness the victory and the liberation of Iraq the glorious. The communique` has summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during today’s clashes and operations in: Baghdad, Mosul, Basra, Sa`mara, Karkouk, Karbala, Fallujah, Haditha etc as follows: 38 killed, 46 injured, in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 8 various military and police vehicles.
