Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

From 8 to 14 August 2004 ‏

In the name of God most merciful most compassionate

The Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces in Iraq has issued eighteen military communiqués on the outcomes of clashes and operations carried out against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during the period from 8 to 14 August 2004 throughout the entire provinces of the country. The communiqués included a clarifications to some of the resistance stands, from the latest developments during the said period. Among the most important of these stands are:

1.      The occupation forces along with the collaborating parties, perpetrate these days the most atrocious crimes of genocide against the people of Iraq in the holy city of Najaf, Fallujah, Saddam city and Baquba, and the resistance with all its power stands by His Honor: Muqtada Assadre and his pan-Arabism and national uprising.

2.      The government of the occupation forces has struck a vile and base deal with the occupation forces, the Iranian Intelligence and their satellite parties, aiming at the physical liquidation of H.O: Muqtada Assadre and Almahdi Army. Verily, the ancestors of Ebn-Al-Alghami who very recently were in alliance with the American invaders to occupy Iraq, are now in joint alliance with the occupation to liquidate Assadre and his resistant uprising.

3.      The failure of who call themselves the Shiite authorities and leaderships to take a firm and clear stand against the occupation and their atrocities, and actively stand by H.O: Muqtada Assadre and his army, shamefully and disgracefully become mediators between the resistance forces and the occupation forces. WE denounce such ill-actions undertaken by those base mediators, which affirm the fact of their participation in the crimes perpetrated by the occupation against our great people in Najaf and elsewhere in Iraq.

4.      The redemptive resistance deems those agents who were brought forward on the enemy tanks as an integral part of the occupation forces, and they will be among the first resistance targets during the resistance’s redemptive operations.

We hereunder give a summary of the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during the above stated period:

On 8/8/2004

25 killed and 30 injured in addition to the shooting down of one American helicopter in Baghdad and the destruction of 3 tanks and 7 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Najaf, Fallujah, Basra, Karkouk, Sa`mara, Mosul etc

On 9/8/2004

18 killed and 26 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 8 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Najaf, Karbala, Baquba, Sa`mara, Fallujah, Tikrit, Haditha etc.

On 10/8/2004

20 killed and 35 injured in addition to the shooting down of one helicopter in Najaf and the destruction of one tank and 9 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Najaf, Baquba, Fallujah, Basra, Sa`mara, Karkouk, Mosul, Alramadi etc.

On 11/8/2004

35 killed and 41 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 11 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Najaf, Basra, Alnasiriya, Kut, Baquba, Fallujah, Alramadi, Karbala, Tikrit etc.

On 12/8/2004

31 killed and 48 injured in addition to the shooting down of one helicopter in Alramadi and the destruction of 3 tanks and 5 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Alnasiriya, Najaf, Fallujah, Basra, Baquba, Kut, Tikrit, Alqa`em etc.

On 13/8/2004

16 killed and 28 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 6 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Najaf, Basra, Karkouk, Alnasiriya, Sa`mara, Alramadi, Fallujah, Mosul etc.

On 14/8/2004

17 killed and 23 injured in addition to the destruction of one tank and various military and police vehicles in today’s and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Fallujah, Sa`mara, Karbala, Basra, Haditha, Tikrit, Alqa`em, Mosul, Karkouk, Hilla etc.
