Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities From 1 to 7 August 2004
In the name of God most merciful most compassionate
The Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces in Iraq has issued seven military communiqués on the redemptive clashes and operations carried out against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators throughout the entire governates of Iraq during the period from 1 to 7 August 2004. In addition to what the communiqués had included of the detailed daily account of the losses inflicted on the occupation forces and their mercenaries during the above stated period, the communiqués reaffirmed some of the resistance obligations and their stands regarding the raised issue associated with the occupation of Iraq. These stands and patriotic obligations were as follows: 1. The American occupation must now gather up the cadavers of their agents who were brought along behind the occupation tanks, and immediately leave Iraq the great, and there can be no alternative to this solution except the turning of Iraq into a massive graveyard for the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators. 2. Today the world- and at the forefront the Arab regimes governors- have all evidently and tangibly declared that what’s currently happening in Iraq throughout a period of more than one year and four months after the invasion, is an all-out real war dominating all governates of Iraq between the Iraqi people with their redemptive forces on one side, and the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators on the other side. Everyone must now acknowledge this reality and deal with question of Iraq on this basis, then decide with whom one wishes to be with or take side with… either with the people of Iraq or with the occupation. 3. We stress that the redemptive resistance forces will not- under any circumstances- show any tolerance or forbearance towards any of those who deal with the occupation forces, their mercenaries, their collaborators or the occupation government whether they are Iraqis, Arabs or non-Arabs… companies or individuals, police or army officers, because they all act as collaborators with the occupation forces, and subsequently they will undoubtedly be the targets of the resistance and its redemptive factions. 4. The legitimate leadership in Iraq is symbolized by the freedom-fighter leader/Saddam Hussein, the president of the Republic of Iraq, and it is he who has the sole right to appoint whosoever to represent Iraq or talk on his behalf. Therefore, recognizing the occupation government and its establishments- by any Arab or non-Arab state- which have been created by the outrageous violation of the International Law, is deemed as an open aggression on the Iraqi legitimacy, and a violation of Iraq’s rights, and siding with the occupation and its colonialist plans, and subsequently the resistance will fend off such ill-acts. 5. The Iraqi resistance today- with all its spectrums- dominates most central and southern towns and boroughs of Iraq, and administers the local citizens daily affairs remotely from the occupation and its puppet government. Our faith in God and trust in our ability to expel the occupation from Baghdad this year is beyond doubt, and Iraq then shall regain its liberty, security, stability, and firmly establish its role on the Arab and International arena. The communiqués have summarized the clashes and operations carried out by the resistance forces last week as follows:
