Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

From 25 to 31 July 2004 ‏

In the name of God most merciful most compassionate

During the period from 25 to 31 July 2004, the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued fifteen military communiqués on the conflicts and operations carried out against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators throughout the entire provinces of Iraq, in addition to the review of the many clashes, the communiqués have reviewed the political stands, situations and events, and defined their open and explicit stands towards the situations as a whole, which can be summed up as follows:

1.      Warning Iran for her continuous sinful stand, and the exploiting of her influence in Iraq through her intelligence service and satellite parties in the service of the occupation forces.

2.      All Arab and foreign companies and organizations- whether commercial, technical or security- which support the occupation and its puppet government, shall be the target of the resistance and subsequently they must all terminate their work and support and return to where they come from.

3.      To avoid being a target for the resistance, the Iraqi army units and security forces must all halt all espionage, storming homes and the pursuing of mujahideen. And must not provide shelter for members of the occupation puppet government, nor must they provide for sites and organizations associated with this government and the occupation forces, or take part in joint patrolling activities and check-points search, or under taking any suppressive activities- as it occurred in many cases- against the honorable peaceful people of Iraq, who reject dealing with the occupation forces and their puppet government.

4.      Condemning and denouncing the sham elections of the so-called national council, and calling the masses to boycott and reject these elections, deeming it as the work of the occupation forces and its puppet government.

5.      Condemning and denouncing the reception of some Arab and Islamic states to the CIA agent, the so-called “Ayyaad Allawi”, the representative of the occupation forces in Iraq, a step which is considered to be an open recognition of the occupation and its government, and a support for the continuity of the occupation in the time when these countries did not lend any gesture or consideration for the brave Iraqi resistance, the power that has the decisive say in Iraq. The Iraqi resistance warns of the consequences that will be incurred on those states if they venture to take any steps to support the puppet government in Iraq, or dealing with such government claiming to be the representative of the Iraqi people in the economic security and political fields. The resistance shall not remain a mere bystander towards this kind of behavior.

6.      To the dynasty in Najd and Hejaz in particular and the other Arab states in general, let it be known, that the redemptive resistance in Iraq- as Iraq has always been in the forefront- is surely the power that protected your thrones, which are still among the American ghoul’s covetousness, whose colonialist plans do not only stop at Iraq, but extend to the depth of the Arabian peninsula. Therefore, the Saudi-American enterprise declared by Collin Powell through the rulers’ mouths of Saud family, which stipulates the dispatch of Arab and Muslim forces to Iraq, a move which is part of the occupation’s conspiracy to dominate Iraq and the Arab countries. This conspiracy shall be decisively confronted by the great people of Iraq, and the resistance shall consider any Arab or Muslim forces set foot on Iraq as an integral part of the occupation forces, and shall be- as well as the occupation forces- a target for the resistance’s mujahideen. Thee communiqués called all the honorable forces in Iraq to reject this vile American enterprise which is voluntarily blessed and agreed by the rulers of Saud family- as it runs in their customs- in order to be the godfathers of Arab and Muslims.

In the context of the statements mentioned above, the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has stressed that their redemptive factions are still in control of the towns and districts that have been liberated earlier on May this year, and that all the clashes that have taken part by the occupation forces during the period stated above against the resistance forces, the most recent of them in Alramadi, Fallujah, Baquba, and Alnasiriya to regain these towns and districts, came to a complete failure, where the occupation forces have suffered heavy human and materials losses.

The communiqués have summed up the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators as follows:

On 25/7/2004

25 killed and 19 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 9 various military and police vehicles in today’s fierce clashes and typical redemptive operations carried out in: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Fallujah, Baquba, Bhiji, Tikrit, Alqa`em and Karkouk. The fiercest clashes had taken place in the town of Bahraz, Amiriyat Fallujah, Abu-ghraib and on the road to Saddam International Airport.

On 26/7/2004

17 killed and 20 injured in addition to the destruction of one tank and 7 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Mosul, Fallujah, Baquba, Alhabania, Abu-ghraib, Haditha, Tikrit, Alqa`em, Alrabta etc.

On 27/7/2004

31 killed and 38 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 11 various military and police vehicles in today’s fierce clashes and typical redemptive operations carried out in: Baghdad, Mosul- Mosul Airport, where the American military base- Basra, Tikrit, Baquba, Karkouk etc.

On 28/7/2004

16 killed and 25 injured in addition to the destruction of one tank and 8 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad- The Green District, Aladthamiya, Haifa street- Almathna Airport, Abu-ghraib, Dyali, Fallujah, Baquba, Haditha, Mosul, Karkouk, Alnasiriya, Basra etc.

On 29/7/2004

85 killed and 110 injured in addition to the shooting down of 2 helicopters in Alramadi, and the destruction of 3 tanks and 18 various military and police vehicles. Today’s bloody and fierce clashes and operations were carried out in: Baghdad, Baquba, the American military base in Alramadi, Al-anbar, Tikrit, Alqa`em, Mosul etc.

On 30/7/2004

40 killed and 56 injured in addition to the destruction of 3 tanks, 12 vehicles and a fuel reservoir in today’s clashes and redemptive operations that covered most cities in Iraq including: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Baquba, Bhiji, Hilla, Alnasiriya, Fallujah, Tikrit, Alhabania etc.

On 31/7/2004

32 killed and 19 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 9 various military and police vehicles in today’s clashes and operations carried out in: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Mosul, Fallujah, Alqa`em, Baquba, Tikrit, Alkhalidiya, Alnasiriya, Karkouk etc.
