Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

From 29/8 to 4/9/2004

In the name of God most merciful most compassionate

The Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued nine military communiqués during the period from 29/8 to 4/9/2004 on the clashes and redemptive operations against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators throughout the entire districts of Iraq. Hereunder, the communiqués have indicated their stands, views and their evaluation to events that took place during the above stated period:

1.      While the Resistance and Liberation Forces condemn the kidnapping and the killing of journalists and diplomats, and anyone who is not associated or collaborating with the occupation forces, their institutions or the institutions of their government, the resistance forces have already warned whoever deals or collaborates with the occupation forces, their mercenaries or their collaborators, because the resistance regards those as an integral part of the occupation forces and their institutions, whether they are Iraqis, Arabs or non-Arabs. Let be known, that Aljalabi or any or any of the occupation’s agents will not be allowed again to go scot-free.

2.      Iraq was the leading defender of the nation, at the time when the Arab nations were far off of this humiliation which pervades them in the presence of Iraq and its forces. Today- despite the neighboring conspirators’ efforts to liquidate the national- patriotic regime in Iraq- the resistance represented and still represents the defending wall of these Arab regimes that safeguards them from the American invaders’ covetousness. To those leaders of the Arab nations, they must not persist in perpetrating errors by foolishly committing fatal errors, and should all join the resistance forces, should they wish to safeguard their countries, their history, their rights and even their leadership posts. There should be no doubt that the American invaders do not believe in friendship with any nation, neither they (the Americans) trust any of those effete traitors. The power and perseverance of the resistance in Iraq and Palestine, are the sole assurance for the survival and the public and individual rehabilitation of these regimes.

3.      Khatimi and Rafsanjani have both disclosed what the Iranian regime attempted to conceal, or rather made statement regarding their disgraceful military and intelligence cooperation and support for the American occupation of Iraq. It is apparent that this Iranian regime drives a hard bargain on the freedom, independence and stability of Iraq for their interests and plans in Iraq and the entire Arabian Gulf region, with their reliance on the sectarian authorities and parties who came along side with the American tanks, and where Basra, Najaf and Karbala were put on stakes on the expense of the unity and stability of Iraq. Those parties and sectarian authorities will not the least hesitate in the near future to put Syria and Hizbullah on their gambling table with the United States.

4.      The occupation forces, their government and their mercenaries and collaborators all think or imagine, that by enticing Assadre and his disciples, they will be able to suppress the resistance’s revolution in the southern provinces, and by then they will attend to the central regions of Iraq, brushing aside the fact that in these regions is the center of the largest and the most powerful focus of the Resistance and Liberation Forces, and that the Iraqis, young and old alike, are a resisting force against the occupation.

We hereunder summarize the losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during the above stated period.

On 29/8/2004

17 killed and 25 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 6 various military and police vehicles, the bombing of Arramiala oilfield and the main oil pipeline connected to “Azzubair” south of Basra as well as the oil pipeline in “Qarina”. The clashes and redemptive operations were carried out in: Baghdad, Mosul, Tal-Allafar, Fallujah, Karkouk, Basra, Tikrit, Sa`mara etc.

On 30/8/2004

28 killed and 30 injured in addition to the destruction of one tank and 5 various military and police vehicles in: Baghdad “Saddam International Airport”, Mosul, Fallujah, Sa`mara, Haditha, Salladin, Alqa`em, Karkouk etc.

On 31/8/2004

19 killed and 25 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks and 7 various military and police vehicles in: Baghdad, Sa`mara, Mosul, Tikrit, Fallujah, Basra, Karbala etc.

On 1/9/2004

33 killed and 46 injured in addition to the destruction of 2 tanks, 9 various military and police vehicles, 2 oil reservoirs and 3 supply coaches for the occupation forces on the highway between Baghdad and the 160 k m road Baghdad – Attraibeel. The clashes and redemptive operations were carried out in: Baghdad “The Green District, Haifa street, Palestine street and Assadoun street”, Fallujah, Baquba, Karkouk, Sa`mara, Mosul, Tikrit, the 160 k m Attraibeel, Alhabania base etc.

On 2/9/2004

23 killed and 37 injured in addition to the destruction of one tank and 4 various military vehicles, and the bombing of the oil pipeline between Bhiji and Jihan port of Turkey. The clashes and redemptive operations were carried out in: Baghdad “The Green District, Haifa street, Alharithiya, Alamiriya”, Fallujah, Baquba, Sa`mara, Karkouk, Tikrit, Mosul etc.

On 3/9/2004

35 killed and 41 injured in addition to the destruction of 3 tanks and 11 various military and police vehicles as well as the bombing of an oil reservoir. The clashes and redemptive operations were carried out in: Baghdad, Fallujah- where there are fierce clashes in its streets and quarters which have been going for 3 days, fighters, helicopters, heavy artilleries, and s-s missiles were used in the conflicts, killing hundreds of innocent civilians in Sa`mara, Baquba, Basra, Karkouk, Mosul, Haditha, Saddam International Airport etc.

On 4/9/2004

59 killed and 82 injured in addition to the shooting down of one Apache at Tal-Allafar near Mosul and the destruction of 4 tanks and 15 various military and police vehicles during the clashes and operations that were carried out in: Baghdad, Fallujah- where fierce clashes are continuing for the third consecutive day, and the Fallujah army joined the resistance forces to defend the city-, Mosul “Tal-Allafar”, Sa`mara, Basra, Karkouk, Aldor, Tikrit, Baquba, Alqa`em etc.
