Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities

From 7 to 27/11/2004

During the period from 7 to 27/11/2004, the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued 38 military communiqués on the resistance redemptive operations and heroic fights against the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators throughout the entire provinces of Iraq ( except Fallujah ).

We hereunder give a summary of the losses inflicted on the enemy forces during the above stated period, excluding the outcomes of the barbaric aggression on the city of redemption “Fallujah”, for which we have issued exclusive communiqués.

The losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators were as follows:

·        474 killed.

·        734 wounded.

·        3 helicopters were shot down at the outskirts of Baghdad.

·        5 oilfields were set a blazed in Karkouk and Basra.

·        81 armored vehicles and tanks were destroyed.

·        166 various military and police vehicles were destroyed.

The Heroism of Fallujah

The occupation forces had mobilized around Fallujah more than 7000 soldiers, 730 tanks type “Ibrahams” and 570 armored vehicles type “Bradley”.

The losses inflicted on the occupation forces, their mercenaries and their collaborators during the heroic battle of Fallujah until Nov 27^th 2004 were as follows:

670 killed, 3800 injured, 17 helicopters and un-manned reconnaissance planes were shot down, 189 tanks and armored vehicles were destroyed, 55 various vehicles were also destroyed and 126 soldiers were captured.

The occupation forces had initially given a maximum of 5 days to crush Fallujah, following an aerial bombardment and missile and artillery attacks which had lasted more than 15 days from the start of the mission on 8/11/2004.. though the enemy forces were taken aback by a legendary resistance and military redemptive tactics where this had caused a state of panic and confusion within the US marines’ High Command, resulted in the continuation of the battle until today.

The resistance men- to avoid the barbarism and the savageness of the enemy’s artillery, missile and air attacks- had intentionally paved the way for the US marines to enter the outskirts of the city, then surrounding them and exterminating them inside the buildings and in the narrow streets of Fallujah.

One of senior British military commanders had admitted that the US military aircrafts had dropped more than “26000” cluster bombs on Fallujah only on Thursday and Friday ( shortly before the Festival of Breaking the Fast- Eid-ul-Fitr ).

On 14/11/2004, the Washington Post newspaper had published a statement made by the commander of the US marines in Fallujah, stating that he asked his superiors for a provisions of armored supplies and vehicles, commenting that the losses inflicted on his tank division were high.. the newspaper went on to say that it was the first time in the history of the Us army that this division demands a military supply, because it is always equipped with all types of essential parts of weapons, in addition to the reinforcement of air supply to pave the way for the assault with the aid of air cover.

Although the area of Fallujah is about 5 square km, besides the dropping of 26000 cluster bombs before the land assault, the resistance men are still dealing with the enemy forces with skilful performance, enabling them to take hold of the American Command Headquarters for 24 hours in the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr.

On 13/11/2004, a number of enemy boats in the Euphrates at which Fallujah is situated on its eastern bank, were engaged in clashes at night, with the aid of a malicious plan and the knowledge of some of the local fishermen, in order to surround the resistance forces. However, they were driven into an ambush set by the resistance men who were awaiting them. Nine boats were destroyed and 5 US marines were captured.

The reporter who released some pictures of the mosque broken into by the US soldiers who delivered the deathblow to the wounded Iraqis inside the mosque, was arrested by the US marines on the day the pictures were released, on the ground of betraying them, despite the fact that he was among the reporters who escorted the US forces.

In monitoring the latest field developments within the city of Fallujah, reports and statements made by news agencies and satellite broadcasting channels have all indicated that the battle between the redemptive resistance forces and the American marines is still continuing on three axes: the eastern axis in Al-askari quarter, the north-west axis in Aljoulan quarter and the central axis near Alwahda quarter. The US forces which were gathered in south of Fallujah, had been dispersed to several locations, and became within the range of the resistance forces’ targets.

The communiqués had stressed that the resistance forces had deliberately evacuated some streets and quarters of the city for the occupation forces as to avoid the ultimate savageness of the artillery and missile attacks, though normally the city is in the hands of the resistance men by night, when the occupation forces are suffering heavy material and human losses, and the resistance hereby is ready to defy the occupation forces by allowing the world media to enter the streets of Fallujah.

There is no secrecy in that the Iraqi heroic forces from the first battalion, are now fighting side by side with the resistance heroes, and accomplishing their tasks courageously.

The mujahideen in Fallujah and in Iraq as a whole, have promised God, the people of Iraq and the Arab and Islamic nation, that they will carry on the fight in the path of martyrdom until the liberation of Iraq and the eradication of the American colonialism with its gang of infidel collaborators such as Allawi and the “tail”: Fallah Annaqeeb.

Truly God stands by those entrust their souls to him, and He alone can grant victory by His will.
